The participants of the third media training in September/October 2010 were asked to conduct an online evaluation on Polldaddy.com. Here is the report of their feedback (n=13):
Of course it is already a while ago, but there are still many reasons why pictures from the great media training in Lugansk last year should be published here on our website. So a little slide show has been created which shall give an impression of the great atmosphere we had in September and October 2010, and also of the wonderful people that had come together in Eastern Ukraine!

The third NGO media training 2010 was financially supported by the Stefan Batory Foundation, the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung, country office Kiev.
Here is an overview of all the entries in the web diary of our NGO media training Lugansk:
A great THANK YOU to everyone involved – it was a real pleasure!
The final day of the NGO media training in Lugansk, Friday, 1 Oct 2010. The main point on the agenda was the presentation and discussion of all the groups’ projects. In addition to that, there was to be the concluding discussion of the seminar as a whole, as well as its evaluation.
Thursday, 30 Sept 2010 – day 5 of the NGO media training in Lugansk was exclusively reserved for the groups to work on their projects.
We may wonder what it was that made everyone so happy and cheerful after the end of the media training in Lugansk… The first participants have just left the “scene of the crime”, and now the rest of the pack is taking a minibus to the city centre. Will they take their seats in the van and then fall silent? Noooo! :-)

In these post-modern times, when nothing is as safe and stable and reliable as it used to be (or so it seems), we need to remain flexible and resourceful in order to cope with the challenges of life.
Here’s an example: What can be done when at a Ukrainian-German-Polish exchange event there happen to be no Poles? How could this severe absence possibly be compensated for? Well, hear for yourself… :-)

An interview with Yuliya from Donetsk at the end of the third and final NGO media training in Lugansk (Ukraine). Yuliya draws a comparison between the three trainings, all of which she had attended. She also speaks about her newly gained skills and how her ecological organisation (“Roza Vetrov”) will benefit from them.
The interview with Yuliya was conducted in Russian, with the questions posed in English (due to a severe lack of language proficiency on the interviewer’s part). It was recorded during the farewell party on the final evening with a simple audio recording device (Zoom H2, commonly referred to as “britva” because of its strange and somehow misleading design…), and the file was later processed with a simple audio editing software (Audacity). Enjoy!
The mp3 file of this interview can be directly accessed here. And for the purpose of comparison, another interview with Yuliya after the end of the second training in June 2010 is available here.
